For the BBA Team, our January challenge is to create something using a new technique.
Here are the tools and materials I used for my creation: wire, hammer, pliers, anvil
More materials: Silver plated chain with a toggle clasp and I made the letter "L" out of wire
I hammered the wire word "Love" to harden the wires.
I did a few different sizes before I got the size that looked the best.
Then, I attached the ends of the wire to the chain
Viola! I created a Love Necklace, which can be purchased now from my Etsy shop.

How creative! I love your wire word. And these would be great as a custom option for names as well!
ReplyDeleteCool! I've seen other people make wire words before, too, but I've never tried it myself. I guess I figure I'd just make a mess of it!
ReplyDeleteWow, great job with your wire word! Edi's right that this would be a great custom item, too.
ReplyDeleteNot sure I can do custom orders, but I could try. Maybe I'll start with your names.
DeleteThanks!
I LOVE your love necklace!! Looks as if you've already mastered the new technique.
