My quality control team decided to test out a new product yesterday: French Fries.

My husband stopped at a fast food place for a burger and fries and put them on the table. While he was eating his burger, Fritz (Black cat) leapt toward the bag and stole 1 french fry and ran off to eat it. He walked toward Fritz and 5 paces away, he didn't notice Sammy spring into action and knock the fries off the table.

He came back to find the french fries on the floor and Sammy waiting for his buddy Fritz to come join him for a feast.

They scarfed up 3/4 of the bag with the expression, "What are you going to do about it? They're ours now."

Flea Market Finds

A few weeks ago, I went to a Flea Market that used to be a craft show. Years ago, I went there and found some terrific paintings by Hargrove - we've collected more since then. I'll show you those in another post.

This time, I found some cloth handkerchiefs - I do use them. I used to buy them for my mom (z'l) when I was a kid, it was the only thing I could afford on my allowance, and I have part of the collection now.

Here are the new handkerchiefs

As I was ending my day at the show, I spotted these black cat glasses and had to bring them home.

Hand Hurts

Just wanted to let you all know that my right hand hurts like heck so I can't blog or do much for awhile.

I'm having tests done on Friday to see if it's carpal tunnel or a pinched nerve.

March Challenge Blogging Business Artisans

The March Challenge for the Blogging business artisans team was chosen by Rose of Random Creative.


"Your challenge is to create any item with turquoise and red as the primary colors. You can incorporate other colors, too, but turquoise and red must key components."


In my jewelry creation, I used turquoise and red - teal turquoise and red turquoise gemstones and coral beads and glass beads. I wire wrapped the gemstones onto a silver plated chain and secured it with a barrel clasp.

I really enjoyed participating in this challenge and I get compliments when I wear this necklace.
