My favorite Holiday movie of all times is It's a Wonderful Life with Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reid. I can recite all the words along with the movie, when it's on ... for some reason, I think the TV and cable stations are not airing it as much as possible. For me, it's like having black olives and green bean casserole on Thanksgiving, it's just not Thanksgiving without them. But I digress.

My favorite scenes are the one where Jimmy Stewart's character, George Bailey, meets up with Donna Reid's character, Mary, at his brother's dance, and they all end up in the swimming pool. Of course, the Wedding Night where Mary surprises George by setting up the old house they threw stones at as their home,
Clarence, the angel's appearance, ZuZu's Petals, and of course, the end, where Clarence gets his wings and George learns there is more to life than money.
It's a Wonderful Life has several actors that play together in other movies too. For example, Beulah Bondi played James Stewart’s mother in four films: It's a Wonderful Life, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, Of Human Hearts, and Vivacious Lady. I love quizzing my husband on them when we're watching them together.
There aren't really any Hanukkah movies besides Rugrats that I know of. Mircle on 34th Street is good, too, it's my hubby's favorite, but it's not the holiday season without It's A Wonderful Life.
For Hanukkah, potato latkes (pancakes) and playing dreidel with the cats is a family tradition. There are many songs and the funniest by far is by Adam Sandler. It's on You Tube at
